My
name is Christina Remien and I have Cerebral Palsy since birth. I like
to refer to myself as Handi-able instead of Handicapped. I am 28 years
of age and have completed two degrees now, an A.A, and a B.S. in Psychology.
In addition, I have 9 credit hours towards my M.S. in Psychology and am
just starting on my B.S. in Computer Science.
I
offer myself as an example to anyone who's has a disability, whether CP
or any other disability, to show them that they too can accomplish anything
they set their minds to. I hope that non disabled individuals will
read this page and realize what Cerebral Palsy is and understand its conditions.
Before
I continue on, here's a definition of Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy
(CP) is a movement and posture disorder resulting from a non progressive
defect of the brain (brain damage).

FACT: Stephen Hopkins, one of the signers of the Declaration
